We regret that due to the building work there is currently no parking available on-site. Techniquest is accessible via bus links to Cardiff Bay, and is just a few minutes walk from Cardiff Bay train station. Car parking is available throughout Cardiff bay in places such as Havannah Street Pay and Display, The Pierhead NCP, Mermaid Quay Car Park and The Red Dragon Centre. Please ensure you follow local pay and display guidelines- there are no local discounts associated with attending an event at Techniquest.

This year's meeting will be held jointly with the Junior Anaesthetists of Wales (JAW), at Techniquest, Cardiff.

Teas, coffees and lunch will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary requirement when booking your ticket.

The post conference social will be a 3 course dinner held in The Classroom, Dumballs Road, Cardiff, CF10 5BF. Welcome drinks will be served from 7.30pm and a 3 course gourmet dinner and wine, will be served at 8 pm. Tickets are limited so get your tickets in plenty of time!


Abstracts

Abstract Submissions are now closed

AWAG/JAW would like to invite trainees to submit abstracts to the AWAG/JAW conference taking place on the 4th of October, 2019. Abstracts are to be written on the themes of ‘Airway Anaesthesia’ or ‘Anaesthetic Training in Wales’, and can be based upon Case Reports, Audits, Surveys and QI projects. Chosen abstracts will only be accepted for oral presentations. Abstracts will be peer reviewed by selected members of both the JAW and AWAG committees. The best two presentation will be eligible for a first and second prize.
